Sarah Young joining the Wyoming Infrastructure Authority

CHEYENNE, Wyo:  The Wyoming Infrastructure Authority (WIA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Young as the Director, Public Affairs and Communications.  Sarah joins the WIA from Magellan Healthcare, where she served as the Communications Manager.  Previously, she consulted for the Majority of the Wyoming State Legislature and worked as Wyoming State Treasurer Mark Gordon’s campaign manager. Sarah is also on the Board of Directors of the Wyoming Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

“I’m very excited to have Sarah join our team,” said Jason Begger, Executive Director of the Wyoming Infrastructure Authority.  “Right now we’re in the midst of a number of large projects and Sarah’s experience will be invaluable as we work to engage our stakeholders and the citizens of Wyoming.  From the Integrated Test Center, to coal export terminal development, to new wind farm development, engagement and telling Wyoming’s story is very important.”

A native of Oregon, Sarah graduated from the University of Oregon with degrees in Business Administration and Psychology.  She and her husband Spencer live in Cheyenne.  Sarah will officially start with WIA on November 1, 2016.
